Who we are

This site is run by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter at the University of South Florida, a registered student organization. We are students, not a company. Using this site means you accept these terms.

Using this site

Read it, share it, and get in touch. Please do not attempt to break into the admin area or any account, disrupt the site for others, scrape it in a way that degrades it, or submit anything unlawful, harassing, or deliberately misleading through our forms.

Membership is separate

This website describes the chapter, but it is not the chapter. Membership, meeting attendance, and project participation follow our own rules and those of the University of South Florida and IEEE. Nothing here is a promise of membership, a position on a project team, or academic credit.

Content and ownership

Text, photographs, and designs here belong to the chapter and its members unless noted otherwise. The IEEE and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society names and logos belong to IEEE and are used as an affiliated student branch chapter. University of South Florida marks belong to the university.

Some projects we build were designed by other people, and those are credited on the project page with a link to the original. Those designs remain the property of their creators under their own licenses. Ask us before reusing anything from this site commercially.

Sponsorship inquiries

The sponsorship tiers and benefits listed on this site are a starting point for a conversation, not a binding offer. A sponsorship exists only once both sides have agreed in writing. We may decline any inquiry, and we reserve the right to adjust tiers and benefits.

Links to other sites

We link to Discord, social media, competition organizers, and projects by other people. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Accuracy and availability

We keep event dates, meeting times, and project details as current as we can, but plans change and this site may be out of date or briefly unavailable. Confirm anything time-sensitive on our Discord before relying on it. The site is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms as the chapter changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed.
